I’m Corina Burri, an independent SEO & GEO Consultant. I help companies increase their visibility on Google (SEO) and in LLMs like ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overview (GEO).
Before becoming an independent SEO & GEO consultant, I led the German SEO and Content Marketing program for a Swiss tech company Ofri. This was my “SEO university”, honestly. I was the first marketing hire, had lots of room for creativity, fast decision-making and available dev resources.

What are SEO & GEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. With “Search Engine” we used to refer to Google. However, search is evolving. ChatGPT is available to the broad audience since January 2023, and the search behaviour of users has changed. At the same time, Google’s market share of has declined:

Therefore the discipline of SEO is changing. Our new job is to make websites visible on Google AND on LLMs such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini et al.
Some people now call this new discipline GEO. GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. Other people also refer to it as LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) or AIO (AI Optimization).
Let’s quickly recap:
Your SEO objective is to make your website visible in Google. Say you run a SaaS company for expenses management (like the Swiss startup Edi, for instance). You’d want to appear for the bottom-of-funnel query: “tools for expenses management”

Your GEO objective is to make your website visible in LLMs such as AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity. Let’s stick to the example of digital expense management. If your brand appears on ChatGPT for the query “How could I make expense managament and approval easier for my SME”, that’s a result of GEO:

Why SEO & GEO matter for young companies
SEO & GEO are essentially “free” traffic and visibility.
“Free” in the sense that you are not paying Google to appear. Once you reach visibility, it continues to attract qualified leads months or years later. It’s something you can do without funding, since SEO & GEO don’t require media budget.
If a young company has clear, useful content, it can appear above older, less updated pages from bigger players. It won’t come overnight, but with smart keyword research and focus it is possible.
The advantage of Startups, SaaS companies and Tech companies is that they have agility in their DNA. You may be faster than large cooperations where decisions take longer.
This way, companies can get noticed and trusted because of the quality of their work, not the size of their budget.

- In the awareness phase, you make your brand visible to people who are not yet familiar with you but are already searching for products or solutions in your niche.
- In the consideration and conversion phases, well-optimized content ensures you appear when prospects compare providers or look for specific services.

How does SEO & GEO consulting work?
SEO & GEO consulting usually follows this cycle:
- SEO & GEO Audit: If you already have a website, I audit your website. Think of it as a comprehensive health check of the SEO & GEO status of your website. I will identify and prioritise action points to increase your visibility.
- Keyword Research: You will need content (=text) to appear on Google and in LLMs. Therefore I identify 10 money keywords (service or names) and develop a series of 24 editorial content ideas designed to attract, engage, and convert your target audience. - Implementation: I either upskill your team to implement the actions by themselves or you outsource the implementation to me. Here’s a sample of a year-long SEO implementation plan.
- Tracking & Analytics: I set up a Looker Studio dashboard to track your SEO and GEO performance.

How much does SEO & GEO consulting cost?
The cost for the above-mentioned approach is as follows:

- Keyword Research: CHF 3400.00
- Training: Price range from CHF 1,000.00 to CHF 3700.00, depending on whether you’re a solopreneur or already have an established team.
- Implementation: starting from CHF 3040.00 per month

How long does SEO & GEO consulting take?
The SEO & GEO audit and keyword research will take 1.5 months. The implementation is on a monthly basis.
Typically we see good results 6 months after implementing the changes on your website.
