Dear reader

Happy 2026! I hope you feel recharged for the year ahead. May your 2026 be filled with good health, positive energy, and space for what matters to you.

This is my first yearly note, a review of my 2025.
2025 has been lovely. On a personal note, we welcomed baby Anna to the family ❤️
Despite the chaotic phase of having a newborn, a toddler, and a young business, I managed to keep up with reading the books form the wonderful book club  Daniela and I run. I’ve benefitted from revisiting “Don’t make me think” form Steve Krug.  It’s a classic, but since I design SEO and LLM dashboards, it was a welcome refresher.
I also enjoyed reading Angela Merkel’s biography. It took me into world I had no touchpoints with before, such as life in the DDR, and highlighted the incredible pace and level of responsibility that come with being a chancellor.

On a professional note, my highlight was accompanying a migration from SEO perspective. This had been on my “wish list” for a long time. I’m proud that impressions went up by 40 % MoM after the relaunch. That’s huge. Cause sites tend to tank shortly after a relaunch.
Another highlight was Franciscas Celli‘s feedback after I helped her with local SEO: “I’m endlessly grateful that Corina optimized my website and Google Business Profile a year ago. Without that, I wouldn’t have had enough work.” It feels empowering to have a tangible impact on people’s lives.

Like most SEO professionals, I’m currently knee-deep in testing tactics to increase clients’ visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, et al. I found out that listicles work well and off-page mentions.

I keep contributing to the SEO community. In 2025, I joined Isaline Mülhauser in organizing SEOnerdSwitzerland. I’m proud that we shed spotlight on four amazing female SEOs this year.

I also had my own (massive) moment in the spotlight when I gave a lightning talk at Google Search Central in Zurich in front of 250 industry professionals. I presented a deindexing alert I vibe-coded during maternity leave.

That said, my return from maternity leave is bumpier than I imagined. I have capacity for one more retainer client and one-off projects. If you know anyone who could benefit from my expertise, I’m an email away.

Alright, that was my 2025. How was yours? And how are you? I’m curious to hear your news.

Warm regards,
Corina
