No Keyword Data in SE Ranking’s Database. Here’s How to Get Data Without Clicking on Numerous Links.

In my SE Ranking review article, I’ve shared the frustration about not encountering data during keyword research. This happens especially if you work in a niche or if you work in a small market.

The UI looks as follows:

Out of a set of 31 keywords, 30 had no data. I reached out to SE Ranking support, and the reason for the absence of data is the lack of previous search for these keywords in this region.

If I now click on the keyword, a new page loads, and I get the data:

But with large data sets, clicking on each keyword is time-consuming. So, I’ve tested and found a workaround with ChatGPT and openallurls.com, which I’m sharing below.

It’s long. Grab a cuppa.

Tutorial: How to create multiple URLs with ChatGPT and open with openallurls.com

  1. Open ChatGPT and create a new chat.
  2. I added the below prompt to get the URL’s
Hi 👋
Here's two examples of a keyword and a corresponding URL. Further down I will share with you an entire list of keywords and I need the corresponding URLS.

backlinkprofil analysieren - https://online.seranking.com/research.keywords.html/?keyword=backlink-profil%20analysieren&source=ch

bildergröße reduzieren - https://online.seranking.com/research.keywords.html/?keyword=bildergr%C3%B6%C3%9Fe%20reduzieren&source=ch

I would like you to create URLs for the following keywords too:
[Lokale SEO-Tipps
Google Unternehmensprofil optimieren
Verlinkung zu lokalen Verzeichnissen
Blogbeiträge zu lokalen Themen
...
... ]

I first got a table with the keywords and the URLs:

3. That didn’t serve my purpose. I needed a list. So I wrote this prompt to get a copy past-able list:

Without the keyword please. Like this
<https://online.seranking.com/research.keywords.html/?keyword=Schema%20Markup%20hinzufügen&source=ch>
<https://online.seranking.com/research.keywords.html/?keyword=Core%20Web%20Vitals%20überwachen&source=ch>

I then got a list with all URLs:

4. I opened the website https://www.openallurls.com/ and added all URLs in the text field and clicked on “Open All URLs”

5. All URLs were then opened. With this, data was requested from SE Ranking.Here you have to wait ~5 minutes until all data is populated.

6. Then you refresh the initial search with the keywords. And suddenly there is data ✨

Here is the link to the ChatGPT conversation: https://chatgpt.com/share/672641ec-3b10-8002-9972-7d449c30c3af

It’s quite a workaround! I wish the data were populated by the initial request. I can’t remember how other tools handled that.

I take it as the price I pay for working with minority markets 🥲
