I help Swiss SMEs increase their visibility on Google (SEO) and in AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity (GEO).
I’ve been working in SEO for 10 years with Swiss companies such as blpk, Ofri or Galenica.

What exactly are SEO and GEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. The goal is to increase the visibility of your website on Google. GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. This means optimising your website to appear in AI-generated answers.
Optimising for SEO and GEO is very similar. Both require helpful content, clear structures and a technically sound website.
What is the business impact of SEO & GEO?
If you want to build long-term visibility, SEO & GEO are the right channels. Unlike paid Google Ads, visibility does not come overnight. But once you achieve it, it tends to be much more stable.
SEO and GEO work across all stages of the marketing funnel:
- In the awareness phase, your brand becomes visible to people who don’t know you yet but are already searching for solutions in your field. In this phase, users increasingly search in AI tools.
- In the consideration and conversion phase, well-optimised content ensures you appear when potential customers compare providers. Here, users tend to search on Google.
My goal is that your company consistently generates new leads and increases brand awareness through SEO and GEO.
How much does an SEO consultant in Bern cost?
My hourly rate is CHF 190.00.
Ideally, we work together long term. SEO & GEO consulting usually follows this process:
- SEO & GEO audit: The audit is a comprehensive “health check” of your website’s SEO & GEO status. I identify and prioritise concrete actions to improve your visibility on Google and in AI. CHF 4500.00
- Keyword research: I identify keywords with attractive search volume and achievable difficulty. As mentioned, finance and insurance are competitive. Many want to rank for terms like “conversion rate pension fund”. I analyse whether short commercial keywords make sense or whether you should focus on longer queries. I identify your money keywords (revenue-driving terms) as well as editorial keywords for thought leadership. More here: keyword research process. CHF 2900.00
- Implementation: Based on the agreed monthly hours, I implement the measures from the audit and keyword research. Example yearly plan: monthly SEO plan. CHF 3040.00
- Tracking & analytics: I set up a Looker Studio dashboard to monitor your SEO and GEO performance.
I also take on short-term or one-off projects. See my full offering on my pricing page.
For locally rooted businesses, local SEO is also highly relevant:
